Hi, I’m Midnight. A few months ago, I arrived at the shelter with my tiny puppies when they were only 2 days old. Not long after, all of us became sick and had to spend those early weeks isolated in the shelter while we recovered. Being a new mom is hard enough, but trying to protect and raise five babies in a noisy, stressful shelter was hard. I was very cautious around people and always on guard. Since coming to the center, I've finally been able to relax. The staff has watched my sweet personality slowly emerge, and every day I'm becoming a little more confident.

I’m completely blind in both eyes, and while the vets are still figuring out exactly why, the good news is, it’s not painful, and I’m learning to navigate life just fine! I’m also healing from some skin issues that came from not having proper care, but I’m already feeling so much better and getting stronger every day. I can be a little timid when we first meet and that makes sense, since I rely on my other senses. Yet give me a little time to learn your voice, and I promise I’ll be your happiest little shadow. I am a certified cuddle bug who will happily relax on your lap or at your side, and I love relaxing in the sunshine and feeling the breeze. I would really benefit from a patient adopter or foster who can help guide me as I adjust to this new chapter. I’m a sweet, loving boy who just needs a little understanding and a lot of heart.

My haters will say I’m a Chihuahua, but when I look in the mirror, I see a dire wolf mixed with a Rottweiler. I commit to using all 9 pounds of my fury to stop all enemies - including monsters in alleyways, dragons, mailmen, food delivery robots, grandmas, and nice people getting out of their car across the street. Actually, don’t tell my boss (Satan), but I am kind of scared of food delivery robots. Only my most trusted council gets a chance to glimpse my (alleged) sweet and loving nature, or gets to witness my ancient rituals of hunting plushie toys and charging to full power in the sun. Allegedly, I even love to “cuddle.” Most human mortals are subject to my unending fury…but I accept other dogs into my realm, for they have not done evil to me as humans have in the past. If you are a worthy contender with a fearless heart, a warm lap, and the cleverness to see through my defenses, then we might be a match for the history books.

Hi, I’m Delilah. I was surrendered to the shelter in really bad shape, after spending most of my life tethered outdoors. I was underweight, severely matted, visually impaired, and had a few medical issues. But through it all, I never lost my sweet spirit or my love for people. Since being rescued, I’ve had quite the glow-up! I got a much-needed grooming, had two large masses removed, and went through a big dental procedure (I’m basically rocking a toothless smile now). I’m healing beautifully and feeling better every single day. What I love most? Being close to my people. I absolutely crave affection and will happily soak up all the love you’re willing to give. Hi, I’m CJ! I was surrendered to the shelter as a senior, which can be an especially scary and risky place for an older guy like me. I was originally listed as 10 years old, but after spending quite a bit of time with my veterinary team, they believe I’m actually closer to 15! When I arrived at Vanderpump Dogs, I was battling a pretty bad upper respiratory infection. I started to improve, but suddenly took a turn and needed to be hospitalized for several days to receive around-the-clock care. Thankfully, I’m feeling much better now but I’m not completely out of the woods yet and still need continued medical care and monitoring, but I’m taking things one day at a time. I may be an old man, but I still have plenty of love left to give. For now, I’m looking for a special family willing to open their home to a senior like me and give me the comfort and care I deserve.

Hi, I’m Cosmo! I am super adorable now that I’ve been rescued, but before coming to Vanderpump Dogs I was found as a stray with a matted coat and covered in foxtails. Hi, I'm Peggy! I've had a pretty tough start to life, but things are finally starting to look up. Since being rescued, I've had lots of medical care, and my doctors were able to diagnose me with a rare autoimmune skin condition called Presumptive Reactive Cutaneous Histiocytosis. While it's a challenging condition, I'm now on medication that my dermatologist is very optimistic about, and I'm already starting to feel so much better! As I'm feeling better, my happy, goofy personality is beginning to shine through. I love making people smile, and I'm excited to keep getting stronger every day. I'm not quite ready for adoption yet because I still need ongoing treatment and monitoring, but I am looking for a committed medical foster home where I can continue healing in a calm, loving environment. I promise I'll make all of your care and love worth it!

Unfortunately, my tumor tested positive for cancer, and now I’m starting a treatment to help give me the best chance to enjoy my golden years. Hi, I'm Clara Bow! I’m deeply loving and sweet, but I need a family who understands me. I just want to cuddle up by your side or be on your lap. I am a girl’s girl, I don’t always trust men at first, but once I get to know them I like men too! It’s strangers that scare me. I will try to ward off strangers with growls and attempts to bite, so I need a family who can accommodate my needs by giving me my own space when visitors are over. I like other dogs, and I would do great with a doggy sibling at home. I prefer a home with adults, or older teens.
