INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS
The Vanderpump Dog Foundation is committed to creating a better future for dogs around the world. While our International missions began in China, ending the dog meat trade, our Foundation is also deeply committed to creating better conditions for dogs globally. Our work takes us all around the world, from Venezuela, to Peru, to Mexico and beyond.
VANDERPUMP MISSIONS: VENEZUELA
In Venezuela, many are abandoning their dogs as they can no longer afford to feed them. With an average monthly wage of only $8.00 and the cost of care for one dog ranging from $2.25 to $5.20 per month, people have no choice but to abandon their pets. Vanderpump Dogs has partnered with Save The Dogs Venezuela to provide food for 1200 street dogs, two major surgeries a month and sterilization for up to 100 dogs per month.
To date we have helped over 1300 dogs and 1500 cats get proper vaccinations/medications, surgeries and nutrients to help them survive. In 2019, we began bringing over several of the dogs from our partner organization to the United States where they are adopted from our Rescue Center. In 2020, we have created a formal relocation program with the goal of 3-5 ambassadors being adopted from Venezuela from our facility in Los Angeles per month.
With the on-going COVID-19 Pandemic, our ability to perform spay and neuter services, vaccinations and deoworming has been greatly hindered; however, we have increased our food distribution while still abiding by social distancing. During April 2020, we were able to buy food at wholesale prices and distribute them to all the animals (over 350 of them!), shelters and fellow rescuers in Venezuela. If you wish to support this program, your generous gift will go towards much needed food in Venezuela or we can designate your contribution toward our Venezuela program for future use once we are able to complete all medical related activities for our rescues in need.
Vanderpump Venezuela can cost up to $2500 per Month, feeding 1000+ street dogs, two major surgeries per month, 50-100 sterilization surgeries per month and ability to provide all food, bedding and additional care for all dogs.

VANDERPUMP MISSIONS: PERU
Beginning in 2019, the Vanderpump Dog Foundation began operating two facilities in Peru housing a total of 60 dogs. These dogs mainly consist of street dogs who have been injured, severely malnourished or have terrible skin issues.
With our incredible team in Peru and partnership with Perros de Alberqques Shelter, we are able to rehab dogs that come to us in critical need and provide vaccinations, food and shelter while they recover.
These dogs live in our rescue house on-site in Peru. On average, it costs $1 a day per dog to provide the full and proper care they need in this facility.
Vanderpump Peru Missions can cost up to $2000 per month, which provides full care of the 60 dogs in our partner facility.

VANDERPUMP MISSIONS: MEXICO
Since 2018, The Vanderpump Dog Foundation has conducted medical missions to Mexico, where the homeless dog population is in dire need. Our mission is to provide food, vaccines and more to dogs in need, and assist in any way we can. With each medical mission, we bring back three to four ambassador dogs in need and find them loving homes through our Los Angeles Rescue Facility.
To fully run this international program it currently costs us $2500 per month that includes the food, sterilization surgeries, all vaccinations as well as microchipping. With your help, we can continue to provide the best life for dogs in need in Mexico every month!

VANDERPUMP MISSIONS: PUERTO RICO
The Vanderpump Dog Foundation has created a relationship with the "Souls of Sato" non-profit animal rescue group that is dedicated to improving the lives and reducing the numbers of abandoned dogs in Puerto Rico. Through our partnership with this organization, we continue to adopt our dogs that are in need during continued recovery following Hurricane Maria.
With your gift of $650, you can help sponsor the adoption and relocation fee of one dog from Souls of Satos in Puerto Rico to our Rescue Facility in Los Angeles where they will find their forever home. Due to the current global sitution with COVID-19, we are not able to complete transports between Puerto Rico and Los Angeles at this time. However, if you still wish to support this program, we can arrange a donation to Souls of Sato and/or designate your contribution toward our Puerto Rico program for future use once we are able to complete transport arrangements.
To fully run this international program it currently costs us $4000 per month that includes the safe transport of four dogs, their sterilization surgeries, all vaccinations as well as microchipping. With your help, we can continue to provide the best life for dogs in need in Puerto Rico every month!
