Hi, I’m Peter! I may be a little older than my sister Penny, but I’ve still got plenty of pep in my step and lots of love to give. I’m a happy guy who enjoys being by your side, whether that’s relaxing together or exploring a sunny spot outside. Penny and I came to the shelter after our owner was deported, and we’ve stuck together through it all. She’s my best friend, and we’re hoping to find a home where we can continue our journey side by side. I do need a dental procedure to help with some periodontal disease, but I’m already on the path to feeling my best and can’t wait to start this next chapter in a loving home. I’ve been diagnosed with Myotonia Congenital, which means my muscles can be a bit stiff sometimes. The good news is it isn’t painful and is completely manageable with medication. Hi, I’m Valentino. I’ve had a rough start to life, but through it all, I’ve held onto a gentle heart and so much love to give. I was left at a shelter after experiencing neglect, arriving severely underweight with painful skin issues, fly strike, cauliflower ear, and more. I even had to have a damaged tooth removed due to past trauma. But thanks to the care and love I’ve received, I’m healing more every day and starting to feel like myself again. I still have some weight to gain and a few things to learn about the world, but I’m taking it all in stride. Beneath it all, I’m a truly special guy who just wants to love and be loved.
